How often should I Exfoliate?
We recommend exfoliating once or twice a week for normal or combination skin. If your skin is particularly dry with flaky patches, use it as often as you feel your skin needs it. Don’t worry, our formula is super fine and gentle and won’t irritate even the most sensitive skin type!
When Should I Exfoliate?
Use Elemental day and/or night, it’s up to you - experiment and see what suits your routine best. We find that if you exfoliate in the morning it gives your skin a smooth, fresh look. If you’ve used our Absolute Cleansing Oil the night before, your skin won’t need another cleanse so you can go straight to exfoliating. Also, you’ll find that if you wear makeup during the day that it will glide effortlessly and smoothly on!
What Skin Type does it suit?
Exfoliating suits all skin types, including normal, dry and combination. Our Elemental Exfoliating Powder is gentle enough for skin that’s prone to acne, psoriasis and eczema due to its’ anti inflammatory and soothing marine ingredients. It should not be used on sunburnt, damaged or tender skin and we recommend a Patch Test to ensure that it suits your skin. Click here to find out more.
